Thermocouples

Thermocouples are used specifically for temperature measurements in industrial processes to obtain even at high temperatures as well as rough environmental conditions an accurate measuring result. A thermocouple consist of two different metals which are welded together at one end. By the so-called Seeback effect on a temperature difference along the conductors a voltage is generated, which serves as a measurement signal.

Depending on the application thermocouples are manufactured in different designs. Highly compressed mineral insulated thermocouples are used for extremely harsh environments up to +1200°C. Simple thermocouples have a fast response time with a measurement range up to +400°C. Our Thermocouples are as type J (Fe-CuNi), type K (NiCr-Ni) and type L (Fe-CuNi) available in all designs.
